REVIEW: Maybelline Superstay 24hr Lipcolor

Hello, Beauties! Today's beauty product review will be on Maybelline Superstay 24hr lipcolor! I received this product free for testing purposes and my honest review!

So, long lasting lipcolor is off the rage nowadays because, who would want to reapply lipstick through out the day? Especially after eating... It's a huge hassle, and most of the time you just don't have time to do the extra, tedious work to get the perfect cupids bow for your pouty red-lip(Or whichever color you prefer) look.

Maybelline came out with a liquid lipstick that is ideal for the glossy gals out there who don't want the drying mattifying look. Not only is it long lasting, there's 30 colors to choose from!

The colors I received are Keeping Up the Flame and Constant Toast.

Now, I'll be doing a review for Keeping Up the Flame, mainly because Constant toast is a shade that's WAY too pale for my caramel skin! Instead of giving me a cute, slight nude lip, it made me look very sickly. So that's one less product to be reviewing today!

INGRIDIENTS:(Green: Safe - Orange: Moderate - Red: Harsh - Black: Undecided)

STEP 1 Ingredients:

STEP 2 Ingredients:

G2296 TRIMETHYL PENTAPHENYL TRISILOXANE, IS-DIGLYCERYL POLYACYLADIPATE-2, OZOKERITE, CERA ALBA/BEESWAX/CIRE DABEILLE, CALCIUM SODIUM BOROSILICATE, CALCIUM ALUMINUM BOROSILICATE, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, PARFUM/FRAGRANCE. [+/- MAY CONTAIN/PEUT CONTENIR MICA, CI 77891/TITANIUM DIOXIDE, CI 77491/IRON OXIDES] F.I.L. D8974/11.

HOW TO USE:

1. Apply liquid lip to clean lips

2. Wait till product is dried down

3. Apply moisture stick

4. And you're good to go for the rest of the day!

KEEPING UP THE FLAME:

It's a very rich red. It's not too deep and not too light, and it has a more neutral red tone to it, so it's ideal for people who have olive undertones such as I.

It's a very pigmented color without streaking! It's a very high quality product for a drugstore lipstick, so I'm highly impressed.

END DAY:

I've worn the lipstick from about, 1pm to 7pm, and I'm honestly surprised by how well it has held up through out my day! I ate fast food, had some soft drinks and water and it's still holding up pretty strong. I've never dealt with a product that last all day like this! So I'm extremely impressed!

THE VERDICT:

I give this product a 9/10

I would've given it a 10/10, but, because that it can dry your lips straight to the Sahara Desert, and the moisture stick can break down the longtivity of your lipstick, which is a huge bummer on the products part. I don't catch myself reapplying the moisture stick often, because it does get to the point that you literally forget you're wearing lipstick, so it's practically a lip tattoo!

All-in-all, I really enjoyed this product, and I did buy 2 other shades, because... why not?
