REVIEW: Hope Girl Sebum Control Pore Pact - Mint

Hello, Beauties! Today's beauty product review will be on Hope Girl Sebum Control Pore Pact - Mint!

This is the first time I've used a sebum control pact. This pact came with 4 other items from the Hope Girl Memebox set, so I have a nice amount to review!

CLAIMS:

1. Controls your skins sebum production

2. Fight the Oily glow all day long!

3. Mint color corrects redness

4. Creates a soft, clear, matte look

PACKAGING:

The packaging is just adorable! I've mentioned before how much I love the fact that Hope Girl's line uses leopard print. It's edgy and cute!

The compact is fairly small, only weight at 6g. But I don't think one person can run out of this product very soon.

The little sponge applicator is extremely soft and it's easy to pick up product, dab on your problem area and go!

SCENT:

There's a slight, floral, baby powder scent to it. Caught me off guard when I applied it to my nose, because I didn't start smelling it until I put some of the product on. It's not overbearing, but it does linger.

BEFORE:

Here is what my nose looks like after a long, hot day. I suffer from an oily T-zone during the summer time, which is absolutely annoying when trying to do certain makeup looks. It's hard to keep applying powder without looking cakey.

AFTER:

The pore pact did quite an amazing job! Literally 100% matte and it's very soft to touch! The powder needed to be blended in a bit, as you can see, it lightened my complexion by a bit.

STAYING POWER:

It doesn't last me all day, probably like, 2-3hrs tops? But, it's still good, especially for my oily T-zone. It doesn't cake up my makeup and it leaves it nice and smooth.

THE VERDICT:

I give this product a 8/10! I would've done a 10/10, but the scent can be a little annoying if you're sensitive to smell. I would honestly obsessively use this product if it didn't have such a lingering scent.

The product does do what it tells you it would do, even though the staying power doesn't last you all day, it does do a great job getting rid of that sebum on your oily skin!
